The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter, ‘General Terms and Conditions’) is to regulate the purchase of products and services, made at a distance and made available, via the Internet, by the website www.borgodoro.com (hereinafter, the ‘Site’) in compliance with the Italian regulations set out in Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and additions (hereinafter, the ‘Consumer Code’).

The consumer who accesses the Site to make purchases (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) is obliged, before sending the order, to carefully read these General Terms and Conditions, which have been made available to him/her on the Site and which will be accessible at all times by the Customer also through the link contained in the confirmation email of each order to allow him/her to reproduce and memorise them.
If the person making purchases on the Site requires an invoice to be issued and/or is not a “consumer or user” as defined in Article 3(1)(a) of the Consumer Code, the regulations on withdrawal set out in Articles 7 and 8 of these General Terms and Conditions or, more generally, the provisions that under the Consumer Code apply only to “consumers” shall not apply.
Contracts concluded with Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Luzi Patrizi through the Site are governed by these General Conditions in compliance with Italian law. The language available to conclude the contract is Italian.
2. Choosing and Ordering Products
As far as Customers who are Italian citizens are concerned, the sale of alcoholic products on the Site is only permitted to individuals who have reached the age of 18 years. As far as Customers who are not Italian citizens are concerned, the purchase of Products on the Site is only permitted to individuals who have reached the age of 18 in accordance with their national legislation. Where no such legislation is defined, a minimum age limit of 21 years is required.
Regardless of their nationality, Customers who proceed with purchases on the Site agree to exonerate Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Patrizia Luzi from any liability in the event that they make purchases on the Site without respecting the age limits imposed by their national legislation.
The characteristics and price of the various products for sale on the Site (hereinafter referred to as ‘Product’ or ‘Products’) are shown on the page relating to each Product.
For the purchase of Products, the Customer shall fill in and send the order form in electronic format, following the instructions on the Site. The Customer shall add the Product to the “Shopping Cart” and, after having read the General Conditions and Privacy Policy and confirmed their acceptance, shall enter the shipping and invoicing data, select the desired payment method and confirm the order.
By sending the order from the Site, which has the value of a contractual proposal, the Customer acknowledges and declares that he/she has read all the information provided to him/her during the purchase procedure and that he/she fully accepts the transcribed General Terms and Conditions and Payment Conditions.
The contract stipulated between Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Luzi Patrizia and the Customer shall be considered concluded with the acceptance of the order by Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Luzi Patrizia. Such acceptance is communicated to the Customer through an email confirmation of the order itself containing a reference to these General Conditions, the order number, the shipping and invoicing details, the list of the ordered Products with their essential characteristics and the total price, including delivery charges.
3. Product Information
Information and characteristics relating to the Products are available on the Site.
The visual representation of the Products on the Site, where available, normally corresponds to the photographic image accompanying the description sheet. It is understood that the image of the Products themselves has the sole purpose of presenting them for sale and may not be perfectly representative of their characteristics and quality but may differ in colour and size. In the event of a difference between the image and the written product description sheet, the product description sheet shall always prevail.

Product prices are inclusive of all taxes and duties.

5. Shipping And Delivery
Deliveries in Italy
We deliver throughout Italy in a short time, between 24 and 72 hours depending on distance.
The shipping price is calculated automatically at check out depending on the weight of the chosen products.
For shipments outside the national territory, please send an e-mail to info@borgodoro.com indicating the products you wish to purchase and the address to which they are to be shipped.
You can pick up the parcel in person free of charge at Azienda Agricola Borgodoro, Vocabolo Campana snc, Magliano Sabina (RI) by indicating this in the order notes.
6. The payment methods are as follows:

With each purchase, you can choose your preferred payment system and enjoy the protection of the most stringent online security systems.
It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. In the case of bank transfer, a copy of the payment must be sent and once the transfer is received we will proceed with the shipment.
In the case of bank transfer it is not possible to complete the order on the site, but you must send an e-mail to info@borgodoro.com indicating the products you wish to purchase and the address to which they are to be sent.
We will send the quotation with details of how to make the transfer.
7. Order processing time
From the moment the order is received, it takes us 1 to 3 working days to prepare it, pack it and hand it over to the courier.
8. Right of Withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide explanations and without penalty. The exercise of the right of withdrawal is valid within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, however in line with current Italian law it is only possible to exercise the right of withdrawal for products that can be put back on the market without endangering the health of consumers. Precisely for this reason, it is not possible to return foodstuffs (including alcoholic beverages) and cosmetics for which proper storage cannot be guaranteed.

9. Warranty, Conformity Defects and Claims
In case of conformity defects of Products sold by Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Patrizia Luzi the Customer shall immediately contact the Customer Service by writing to info@borgodoro.com.
The legal guarantees provided for in Articles 129, 130 and 132 of the Consumer Code apply to the sale of Products. The Customer has the right, at his or her choice and provided that the type of Product allows it, to the restoration, without charge, of the conformity of the Product by means of repair or replacement, or to an appropriate reduction in the price, or to the termination of the contract. The Customer loses these rights if he/she does not report the conformity defect to Azienda Agricola Borgodoro di Patrizia Luzi within the term of two months from the date in which he/she discovered the defect, unless the Product is perishable or subject to expiry in a shorter term, in which case the defect must be reported within this reduced term.

Shipping information
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Italy, including the islands, and throughout Europe.
Shipping time?
Orders are processed on average within 2 to 6 working days depending on product availability.
All orders received by 12 noon (Monday to Friday) will be taken on the same day. All orders received after 12:00 noon will be taken and processed the following day.
Delivery times vary depending on the final destination.
For shipments abroad, delivery times vary from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the destination state.
Delivery times may be delayed in the case of holidays, weekends or due to force majeure and inconvenient areas.
The total time to receive the product depends on the order processing time and the time it takes the courier to deliver.
How does delivery take place?
The products are properly packed and placed in cardboard boxes with seals on the openings to guarantee their integrity.
Since these are fragile foodstuffs, the presence of a person is required to receive them.
Does the product perish in the event of delivery delays or stocks?
Our products all have a long shelf life and no special storage difficulties, so if left in their box in the dark they will not be damaged.
