Colledoro durum wheat is sown in our fields in December in rotation with legumes and fodder crops. Threshing takes place when fully ripe, guaranteeing a product with a rich, natural flavour. Perfect for a healthy, balanced diet.
Wash the beans thoroughly in cold water.
Cook in plenty of salted water for about 30 to 40 minutes on a low heat, tasting it from time to time to check that it is cooked.
It does not need to be soaked.
Pearled durum wheat is ideal for preparing cold salads, rustic soups and tasty side dishes. Try it with seasonal vegetables, pulses, or as a base for one-pot dishes enriched with herbs and extra virgin olive oil
Store dry, cool and protected from light, preferably in an airtight container.
